Commercial Loan Account Executive Job Opening in Bethesda, Maryland - Title: Account Executive
Summary:
The Account Executive will work in relation with the Chief Credit Officer to provide direct support and interaction with a portfolio of accounts and clients, ultimately being a part of client?s growth and success.
Essential Job Duties and Objectives:
Structure, negotiate, underwrite and document loan agreement amendments to modify, extend, renew, or increase existing loan commitments
Maintain compliance with collateral requirements through daily approval of loan advances, monthly review of account reconciliations, review and implementation of field exam recommendations, and pro-active monitoring of customer activities
Maintain integrity of their assigned portfolio, ensuring credit quality and soundness of risk ratings, and the condition of credit files
Set-up and maintain appropriate ticklers to facilitate timely receipt of customer financial reporting and accurate testing of financial covenants
Regular review of customer?s financial performance through the analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and cash flow budgets and projections
Ensure the timely completion of monthly and annual reviews for assigned portfolio including re-evaluation of risk ratings
Develop and implement exit strategies for problem accounts
Engage in prospect and customer calls as appropriate
Meet regularly with existing customers to review their operating performances
Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Financial analysis experience and credit training
3 or more years of related experience required within financial industry, preferably in a commercial credit, loan, collateral, or factoring operation
Demonstrated ability to recognize potential collateral, financial and/or operational weaknesses and the ability to recommend solutions
Demonstrated sound communication skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to meet stringent deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or as a team
Aptitude to participate in special projects on an as-needed basis
Dependable, positive and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Strong decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills
Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in unfamiliar situations

Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
