Bookkeeper - Part Time Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - We are looking for a seasoned part time Bookkeeper to join our growing team to assist with our busy season!
A successful candidate must have experience working in Quickbooks, and will support the organization with the following bookkeeping functions: accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparation of bank deposits and monthly financial statements, management of annual audit process, and other related duties as assigned.
The preferred candidate will have -
At least three years related work experience
Demonstrated knowledge of standard bookkeeping functions
A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Experience managing annual audits
Respect for separation of duties and effective internal controls
Savvy in Microsoft Excel and Word
Capable of learning database and point of sale software programs
Educational Requirements
High school degree and some college education required
Associates or Bachelor?s degree in a related field preferred
Significant work experience may be substituted for some educational requirements.
Schedule
20-24 hours a week - days to be determined
Pay
$20/hr+ based on experience
