Paralegal Job Opening in las vegas, Nevada - Paralegal Angius & Terry LLP is currently seeking an experienced litigation paralegal with a minimum of five years experience in construction defect litigation for its Las Vegas office. Candidates should have experience drafting documents, preparing for court, and summarizing and organizing large volumes of documents. Candidates should also have strong technical skills including proficiency with word, excel, summation, or other case management and trial software and experience in E-Filing. Position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment. The position will be responsible for opening and maintaining cases, including preparing for trial. Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents. Initiate e-filing procedures. Communicate with participants involved in case assignments. Prepare and finalize discovery according to case management orders. Review and respond to correspondence, emails, etc. Assist and/or respond to all phone calls, including calls from managers and attorneys.
