Summary:
With the guidance of the Sales Management Staff, the Territory Manager assumes full responsibility for HVAC Residential and Contractor sales. The Territory Manager?s roles with customer accounts will vary depending on the needs of the customers. When necessary, they will attend training classes to acquire the skills necessary to meet their customer?s needs and expectations. The ultimate goal with each account assigned to the Territory Manager will be to establish a consultative relationship targeted towards mutual growth and profitability. The foundation of that relationship should be based on Integrity, Trust and Credibility. The Territory Manager must have a genuine concern about the customer?s well-being and success.
Essential :
Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
Maintains direct personal contact with all assigned accounts and responds in a timely manner (24 hours or less) to all requests for information, project quotations.
Solicit new accounts and dealers.
Serves as a host at dealer meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive trips and all other similar functions.
Participates as requested in home product shows, utility sponsored events, industry associations, etc.
Conducts him- or herself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors and consumers.
When called upon, Territory Managers will assist in resolving customer relation?s problems with both dealers and end users.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the HVAC industry and product lines associated with HVAC
Proficiency in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
Experience in residential and commercial contractor relationships.
Proven work history in the sales and marketing arenas, preferably in the AC & heating supply business or similar.
Proven success in sales, marketing, operations and leadership roles.
Strong interpersonal skills including problem solving and customer service are absolutely required.
Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels.
Ability to give quality presentations.
Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames for building a territory.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Bachelor?s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Mechanical or Technical background.
