Description:
Responsible for the maintenance of general ledger accounts, including the timely preparation of monthly journal entries and the reconciliation of the accounts and related schedules
Prepare monthly financial statements and schedules
Prepare monthly journal entries
Prepare audit schedules
Assist in special projects
Maintenance of various accounting areas:
General Excise Tax
Inventory
Notes payable
Revenue analysis
Allocated expenses
Fuel allocations
Insurance allocations
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting/finance from a four-year accredited college or an Associate?s degree in accounting/finance and three years related work experience
Able to write reports and correspondence
Must have basic knowledge of computer programs (Excel/Word) and accounting software
10-key by touch
Able to adjust to a fast-paced environment with varying deadline
Pay Rate: $45,000/year
