Local Sales Representative Job Opening in Memphis, Tennessee - Since it's establishment in 2007, USA based Unicorn Tire Corp. has been specializing in the import, export and wholesale of quality passenger, light truck, commercial truck and ST trailer tires. We cooperate with many of the industry's leading manufacturers and suppliers from the US as well as from around the world. We are currently looking for an experienced sales representative to join our winning team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop sales territory to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line.
Train fixed operations to increase their tire RO penetration.
Maintain outstanding levels of customer service.
Keep customer current with updated pricing information; maintain accurate and up-to-date notes relating to customer contact and promotional activities.
Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date files relating to customer contact, details, and promotional activities.
Assess and monitor competition in territory identify potential and/or lost business.
Drive to customer location to sell products and services, establish relationships and solve problems.
Determine customer requirements for new products and services, and introduce new products to on-going accounts.
Develop additional and new profitable business in specific markets, territories, and/or customer segments through inbound or outbound telephone calls to customers.
Maintain accurate records and provide necessary follow-up.
Inform designated company sales personnel of potential sales leads, accepted orders and quotations.
Maintain an in depth knowledge of company products.
Qualifications:
3 years related retail sales or customer service experience with demonstrated profitable sales experience.
Valid drivers licence and good driving record.
Advanced knowledge of the related industry with application, technical, managerial experience a plus.
Ability to make key customer decisions.
Attention to detail and deadlines.
Good listener and strong written and verbal communicator.
Entrepreneurial, goal driven, action oriented, self-motivated
Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open minded manner.
Well organized and represent the company in a professional manner
Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships
Ability to project a positive image to customers
Related degree is a plus
