Accounting Manager Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Manage daily activities of a small accounting department to assure timely processing of payables, receivables, payroll, and other financial activities. Assure transparency and clear visibility of all financial transactions of the company and provide reports and analysis necessary for budgeting and planning.
Managing the A/R and A/P functions,
Processing financial statements and reports,
Maintaining the company budget,
Managing tax filing in a timely and accurate manner,
Filing all government required reports and licenses,
Processing credit applications both for customers and vendors,
Managing company insurance policies.
The accounting manager will be responsible for managing basic HR related functions including payroll, training and disciplinary actions and all confidential matters relative to workforce.
For a right candidate, there is growth opportunity leading to comptroller position in 3-5 years.
Honesty, ability to lead by example, foresight, sense of urgency and obsessive attention to detail and accuracy are required to succeed in this position. Minimum 10 years experience and BA in accounting are required. CPA or Masters' degree a plus.
