Due to growth and expansion, Villa Bellezza is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager. This role is vital to selling the total Villa Bellezza experience offering diverse event space options.

Responsibilities
ˇ Follow up on interest and inquiries for weddings, meetings and other private events in a timely manner and utilize CRM system for tracking.
ˇ Conduct tours of event spaces to perspective clients.
ˇ Negotiate and prepare event agreements and contracts with clients for all events booked using established guidelines.
ˇ Handle or supervise communications with clients during event planning cycle-often over extended periods of time.
ˇ Advise and make recommendation to clients on event space selections, design and set up, wine and other beverage selections and menu selections.
ˇ Upsell additional services and upgrades, i.e. décor rentals , etc..
ˇ Create proposals, banquet event orders, & invoices and distribute in a timely and efficient manner using Caterease.
ˇ Interact with appropriate management on event dates and times, menu development, food set-up and displays for events to ensure the highest quality of food production, standards, presentation and service.
ˇ Facilitate internal and external communications of all private and special events to ensure client expectations are met and events run smoothly and efficiently.
ˇ Make certain all payments and other event requirements are satisfied on or before dates specified in the event agreement.
ˇ On the day of the event, check in as needed with client to confirm we are meeting or exceeding expectations.
ˇ Assist with or perform on-site event management- partnering with the Director of Food Services when needed.
ˇ Carefully transfer responsibility for completion of the event to Villa Bellezza event and catering teams before leaving each event.
ˇ Follow up with client after the event to thank, solicit next event or referrals and to request published reviews of our services.
ˇ Track weekly booking pace and sales to continually develop strategies to improve revenue and ensure quarterly sales targets are met.
ˇ Supervise Event Coordinators daily activities and ensure the quality of their services.
ˇ Represent Vila Bellezza outside of the office by attending tradeshows and conventions.
ˇ Research and investigate other on site event possibilities and present ideas to management.
ˇ Maintain a flexible work schedule based on event schedules and selling needs.
ˇ Work with the Marketing Department to build and expand the referral system.
Skills and Abilities
ˇ 2+ years of hospitality or related sales experience.
ˇ Proven success in engaging potential clients and ?experience? selling.
ˇ Outgoing personality with aptitude for coordinating people and events with passion and excitement
ˇ Must possess excellent customer service skills for interaction with contacts, customers, leads, prospects and co-workers.
