Agronomy Sales Job Opening in Evansville, Wisconsin - Agricultural sales of Fertilizer, Chemical and seed in the Evansville market. This role would include a small current customer base along with the opportunity to prospect and grow the business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Working in the Evansville market to grow and service fertilizer, chemical and seed business
Year around customer contact and scouting
Promote DeLong food grade program to potential and existing customers
Ag chemical, fertilizer & seed recommendations
Work with County Extension agents
Desire to serve farmers and others involved in the agriculture industry
Willingness to work as a team member
Desire to remain updated with new agricultural trends and technology
Other duties as necessary
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: High School or equivalent required, Agricultural bachelor?s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: If no bachelor?s degree, 5+ years in Seed/Agronomy Sales preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS: Self-motivated, Aptitude in presentation and public speaking. Ability to travel during the week. Ability to work long hours during peak seasons, focusing on crop quality and execution
PREFERRED SKILLS: Strong knowledge base and background in Agronomy
