The tasks that are essential to perform the functions of this position are:
Perform cash accounting functions.
Count, record and prepare for deposit cash monies from various hotel departments.
Make appropriate cash account and general ledger notations.
Perform wide range of data entry functions on spreadsheet software.
Prepare and submit a variety of accounting reports to hotel management and corporate accounting office.
Develop and maintain an office filing system of reports, records, invoices, etc.
Perform audits to account for charges and cash totals, and report irreconcilable discrepancies.
