The Administrative Coordinator works closely with the Director, Healthcare Quality Improvement as part of the Quality Improvement team to help improve efficiencies and close gaps regarding HEDIS measures. Coordinate with health care providers and staff in reviewing actual and proposed medical care and services against established CMS Coverage Guidelines review criteria.
Supporting call center and outreach staff to provide member/patient education on referral management and processes. Use dashboard for entering and reporting measures. Facilitate member and provider engagement. Analyzes available data to identify members who can benefit from available programs. Assisting in reviewing member specific and provider specific data to identify concerns needing follow up Requirements.
Experience supporting call center and outreach staff in a medical setting or assisting in coordinating gaps to care member/provider engagement. Knowledge and experience working with Medicaid programs. Strong data collection, analysis and reporting skills accountability, meets established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results; encourages others to do the same.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 3 years of experience or 5-7 years? experience in healthcare, managed care, and related clinical core improvement work experience that demonstrates the attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills and abilities. Healthcare Quality Improvement experience and working knowledge of the targeted community (Medicaid/Medicare beneficiaries), medical terminology, providers (hospitals, community health centers, pharmacies and clinics).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse group of people.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Access database) and possess a basic understanding of quality improvement standards such as NCQA, HEDIS, CAHPS, and CMS. Demonstrated effective organizational skills Strong teamwork, interpersonal, verbal, written, and administrative and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
