This individual uses ?the practice?s? clinical and technical resources to efficiently meet goals. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions for the medical practice, ensuring that office policies, procedures, and plans are executed in a smooth and expeditious manner. Responsible for managing projects, formulating an operational schedule to coordinate efforts of all departments office, Strategic Planning and personnel/practice management duties.
Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years? healthcare experience.
Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to multiple office locations.
Computer literacy with current practice systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management Responsibility
Oversee all management of projects from proposal to completion.
Ensure all projects are undertaken within budget and completed on time.
Meet weekly to update team and management on progress of projects.
Ensure communication between departments so the work flow isn?t compromised and meets the deadline for the project.
Provide feedback to any/all team members on project
Operational Scheduling
Organize and coordinate with all departments within the practice and have a general oversight of all staff and activities within the office.
Oversee overall management, planning and controls of daily work activities
Provide monthly reports to management on all operational activities.
Proficiently maintain a balance between the quantity of work and the quality of the output.
Practice Management
Manages human resource development
Maintains an effective system for employee personnel files and records ensuring legal documentation.
Creates and/or maintains employee orientation and termination protocols.
Performs all prospective employee reference checks; ensures compliance with all government agencies with regard to human resource (i.e., TEC, IRS, ADA, COBRA, OSHA, etc.).
Provides leadership, guidance, and expertise to all staff members.
Effectively communicates departmental activities to the entire staff.
Establishes a high performance team that is efficient, knowledgeable, service-oriented, sharing responsibility for attaining the goals of the practice.
Designs/implements and/or updates all operational systems including:
Employee Manual
Scheduling
Telephone System
Ensures that all IT, medical, and surgical equipment are functioning properly.
Adhere to and be familiar with all Health and Safety requirements to ensure safety requirements to ensure safety amongst employees.
Responsible for budgeting, which involves making appropriate monetary allocations that maximizes outputs along with ensuring profits.
Strategic Planning
Contribute to short and long term organization planning and strategy.
Provide review of internal procedures that may/may not be working and recommend changes, when necessary.

Flexible hours (occasional weekends and late nights)
