Project Manager/Sales Engineer Job Opening in Bristol, Indiana - ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Uses communication skills and tact to work with sales people, dealers, retail customers, supervisors, and operator level employees to develop customer expectations into real working product solutions that have a professional and attractive appearance. These designs would also integrate well into production scenarios through both initial product design and effective production planning.
Uses active knowledge or research skills to utilize current trailer and RV construction codes to ensure design safety and compliance with generally accepted design criteria.
Ability to prepare and present complex build production packages to the team to predict and communicate potential production issues. Follow complex builds through the production process to mitigate exposure to design related rework issues. Uses good time management skills to fit current design time with current production time on a daily basis.
Recognizes strengths in people, build work groups out of members from various departments, and lead groups of people in a meeting environment to accomplish production goals related to new designs, and complex custom trailer builds.
Ability to design, source materials, create BoM data, cost, and price new undeveloped options as well as complex one-off trailer builds in a timely manner.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience in cargo trailer business preferred
CAD background required
Engineering background preferred
