Medical Reimbursement, Inc. is a premier healthcare medical billing, coding and revenue cycle management firm. Founded in 1988, this Cincinnati based company has a 98% client retention rate and is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, professional and dynamic Director of Revenue Cycle. The Director is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, supervising and evaluation of all revenue cycle operations for the firm and reports directly to the CEO.
General :
This highly skilled professional will work collaboratively with the MRI management team and staff to provide excellence in accounts receivable management services to its clients, patients, and third party payers. Primary responsibilities include:
Lead operations of coding, claims processing, payment posting accounts receivable collections, refunds, financial counseling, audit and compliance.
Lead process improvement initiatives.
Develop and communicate policies and procedures.
Establish, monitor and report performance against benchmarks.
Recruit qualified staff and facilitate training and development.
Develop and maintain positive, professional and effective working relationships with clients.
Maintain timely and thorough follow through on assignments, duties, problem resolutions and expectations.
Assist CEO with special projects.
Job Requirements/Key Skill Areas:
A strong knowledge of medical professional fee billing and collection, CPT, ICD-10, managed care products and processes and insurance adjudication practices.
A strong knowledge of regulatory, compliance and legal requirements associated with medical billing.
Extensive experience in reporting and analyzing revenue cycle performance trends and improvement opportunities for providers.
Demonstrated ability to organize workflow processes for maximum efficiency.
A creative problem solver who constantly looks for better and more effective ways of doing things.
The ability to establish clear expectations for excellence in revenue cycle management and hold managers and staff accountable for success.
A supporter and developer of people who likes to work with others to maximize their success.
The ability to adapt to various situations and changing environments by creating alternative courses of action.
A skilled communicator with the ability to present detailed and complicated information clearly and professionally in written and verbal format.
Desired Background:
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Management.
Minimum of ten years in health care billing experience with a medium to large healthcare organization, and five years as a manager of a multi-level revenue cycle billing operation.
