Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for applying customer account payments in a timely and accurate manner. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is significant in the Company?s operations, ensuring the Accounts Receivable Department has current and accurate information to provide the highest level of service to our customers. This position is critical to timely distribution of customer invoices, account statements, and initial collection efforts. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and excited to develop a basic understanding of accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute customer invoices (daily) and account statements (monthly)
Post Cash Receipts
Retrieve Daily Deposit Info from lockbox, Wire Desk, Customer Portals, Credit Cards
Review payments for deductions and process per Company policy
Settling unapplied payments
Basic analysis of daily invoices, working with other departments to ensure accuracy
Support the AR Inbox with basic issue resolution, information, and communications
Other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for processing large volumes of data and meet specific deadlines
Self-motivated and comfortable asking questions and problem solving
Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite
Must be flexible and willing to look critically at processes for potential improvements
Reliable, punctual with excellent attendance
Basic math skills, 10-key a plus
Maintain a positive attitude and be a strong team player

This is a Non-Exempt, hourly wage position. To be considered for this position you must be local, living in Washington State, and a non-user of tobacco products.
