Clinical Application Coordinator (IT) Job Opening in Algodones, New mexico - General Description: Provides coordination, integration, and support for all clinical IT systems and software for Health and Wellness Department programs. Acts as a in support of the daily interface between medical, dental, and behavioral health providers and the Electronic Health Records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor?s Degree related to Healthcare Information Technology or Information Technology Systems Management.
Must have two years of working experience in Healthcare Information Technology while at a healthcare setting with direct patient care (clinical, nursing, or allied health).
Working knowledge of Indian Health Service RPMS preferred.
Must be able to manage the day to day operations of RPMS or other healthcare software and applications.
Must have experience as a liaison between groups within an organization and as an effective team member.
Must have the ability to implement and maintain Electronic Health Record software throughout the Health and Wellness Department of the Pueblo of San Felipe.
Must be able to interface with and mentor all users of the EHR in the Health and Wellness Department of the Pueblo of San Felipe.
Experience in tribal healthcare IT systems operations preferred.
Must have experience as a liaison between groups within an organization and as an effective team member.
Ability to apply analytical skills and computer operation applications necessary to manipulate information from numerous and complex databases.
Ability to work with confidential material within HIPAA laws is required.
Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors orally and in writing is required.
Must possess a valid NM Driver?s License and must be able to pass a background check.
Must have knowledge of or be willing to learn about the customs and mores of the San Felipe Pueblo.

Salary: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
