Manager, Quality Improvement (Health Care) Job Opening in Boston, Massachusetts - Health Leads is seeking a full-time Manager of Quality Improvement (QI Manager) to continue developing organization-wide capacity to design and execute quality improvement initiatives in health care. The Manager of Quality Improvement will ensure that teams have the tools and resources necessary to implement process and system improvements that contribute to our aim of addressing all patients? basic resource needs as a standard part of quality care. The Manager of Quality Improvement reports to the Lead of Quality Improvement. This position is based in Boston, MA or a remote location with a preference for candidates based in the cities where Health Leads currently operates.

Responsibilities
Train and coach individuals and teams on the application of quality improvement methodologies and tools (i.e., Model for Improvement, plan-do-study-act (PDSA) cycles).
Develop and maintain tools (i.e., driver diagrams, change packages, measures dashboards, etc.) to support the integration of a quality improvement approach across departments.
Identify meaningful performance measures and create run charts and statistical process control charts with Tableau software to analyze improvement data.
Support and monitor progress of organization-wide quality improvement initiatives using a centralized tracking system. Leverage this system as a knowledge-sharing platform to spread learning across teams.
Extract knowledge from quantitative and qualitative performance data to generate insights and drive action.
Communicate insights to both internal and external audiences.
Develop and deliver presentations that summarize learning and data from quality improvement projects.
Manage and coordinate external quality improvement training opportunities for all levels of staff.
Participate in identifying, planning, and coordinating department-specific quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience successfully implementing the Model for Improvement and/or other quality improvement frameworks in clinical settings.
2+ years of experience of coaching diverse teams and individuals on process improvement.
Experience working with learning collaboratives or similar learning systems.
Experience using statistical process control methods.
Skill and comfort implementing effective coaching strategies to support individuals and teams in applying quality improvement principles and tools to achieve their project aims.
Strong understanding of how to display data for performance improvement using run charts and statistical process control charts, with the ability to analyze and present data to groups and individuals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of staff from senior leaders to front-line staff.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
Ability to adapt to and manage in a fast-paced work environment.

Experience with qualitative data collection preferred.
Experience with addressing health equity issues and/or social determinants preferred.
Master?s degree (MPH, MPA, or other healthcare related field) preferred.
Expertise utilizing Microsoft Office. Familiarity with online collaboration tools (i.e., Webex, Google Suite, Confluence) and business intelligence software (i.e., Tableau) highly desired.
