We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, part-time employees for patient care. Coverage is needed Tuesdays/Thursdays, 2nd Wednesday and 4th Friday of the month from 8 am -6:00 pm, but may be scheduled on other days. We will train you; you do not have to be a CNA, CMA, or AAMA to work for us, though prior medical experience results in a higher starting salary. This position requires that the employee deliver quality patient care through the nursing process of intake of patients, charting, ordering tests, and following through. We have a very busy office and employees must be willing to learn and move quickly, helping other staff members as needed. Must be self-motivated when working alone, with strong desire to get things accomplished.
General Duties:
Provides patient care to patients in assigned clinic.
Observes, records, reports, and assists in the nursing plan of care, the implementation of care, and the evaluation of the patient status and progress.
Works closely with fellow employees to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Communicates report to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with the clinic policy.
Assists in outpatient clinic procedures.
Responsible for strict administration, control and dispensation of various sample medications in accordance with clinic policy.
Documentation: Properly and accurately documents/charts observations and other data related to the clinical condition of the patient.
Preserves and protects patient and client confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
Drives office vehicle to outlying clinics; performs all normal duties in outpatient clinics.
May be required to work early and/or later than scheduled hours when clinic runs late.
May rarely be required to work on a Saturday if coverage is needed.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures,rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection?control policies and protocols. Follows clinic policy when disposing of bio-hazardous materials, labeling and handling of all materials.
Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.
Demonstrates professionalism, by being punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
Adapts and adheres to all facility policies and procedures.
