Quality Assurance Analyst Job Opening in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey - Quality Assurance Analyst job description: we are looking for an experienced qa analyst to join our sqa team responsible for testing of our enterprise claims platform guidewire. as a qa analyst you will be reviewing stories/features acceptance criteria, creating test plans, reviewing dev test cases, running workflows, running tests to find issues before they are released to uat and other environments, helping debug production scenarios, documenting workflows and collaborating with dev team in assisting to debug and fix unique production scenarios. as a senior qa analyst, you will also be responsible for performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures. analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. debugs and characterizes defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports. maintains documentation of test operations and reports results to engineering. identifies actual or potential problems in test plans or company products. consults with development engineers in resolution of problems and participate and provide input in code/design walkthrough/reviews., methodologies, and processes within testing; develops training material, as necessary. for immediate interest please email your resume to or call at job requirements ? bachelor?s degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience ? 5-7 years of relevant quality assurance work experience and thorough understanding of sdlc ? proficiency in software qa methodologies and history of excellence in software testing ? strong understanding of property and casualty business functions highly desired ? experience with sql (simple and complex queries) ? understanding of p c insurance and/or claims platforms ? testing in guidewire claimcenter would be a major plus ? experienced with agile methodology ? understanding of the importance of planning a proper testing scheme in order to effectively identify problems so that the team can deliver a high-quality product ? you have strong analytic, problem solving, and organizational skills ? skillful in communicating difficult and sensitive information tactfully ? you are a fast starter who works as a team player and doesn?t require continuous supervision
