Payer Audit Coordinator Job Opening in Kirkland, Washington - We are looking for a highly organized individual with strong communication and project management skills to support the payer auditing process. This is an immediate need, so don?t hesitate to apply!
Hours : Daytime shift, flexible
Length: Contract, 2 months
Pay : $23-30/hour, DOE
Responsibilities :
Organize and document all payer audits in the C360 tracking tool and update with changes and completions.
Communicate and coordinate across departments to ensure audits receive the proper review, appeals and resolution.
Coordinate with other departments (HIM, Care Management, Physician Offices, etc.) to obtain appeal responses and justification and compiles responses and submits in appropriate format and according to payer requirements.
Reviews and evaluates hospital bill audits to determine appropriate course of action. Develops and writes appeal rationale and submits according to payer requirements.
Responds timely to all payer audit requests and submits appeals within payer deadlines.
Requirements :
Strong communication and organization skills
Project management experience
Healthcare background
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred :
Familiar with federal (RAC/MAC) and commercial audit process
Experience working with Compliance 360 or other audit tracking tools
