Seasonal Sales Associate Job Opening in Rockville, Maryland - This is a temporary seasonal position for support for the retail sales team in a retail location during the peak rental season, as schools start up each fall. It usually lasts no more than six to eight weeks, and is an entry level position. It will be part time with limited hours assigned.
Work as a team in a retail environment
Complete rental agreements and provide correct products for each rental customer
Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer
Generate sales to meet or exceed goals in rental categories
Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum :
Must be at least 16 years old
Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience
Basic knowledge of musical instruments
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Perferred :
2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
Novice knowledge of musical instruments

Legible handwriting or printing
Good communication and 'people' skills
A strong commitment to customer service
The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
The ability to multitask with customers in store and on the phone
