FP&A Analyst Job Opening in New York, New york - The FP&A Analyst to help lead the company?s annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, management reporting, and strategic planning activities. This person will be integral in building and maintaining Board of Directors presentations, financial models and Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) analyses.
Responsibilities
Provide relevant and insightful financial analysis with respect to consolidated results across firms diverse businesses (including the key drivers of business performance) for budgets, outlooks and monthly/quarterly results
Maintain an effective communication process with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure that budgets, outlooks and monthly/quarterly analyses are accurate, complete and timely; implement corporate initiatives, including changes in reporting requirements
Participate in providing analyses and materials for senior management/investor relations for quarterly press releases, earnings calls and Board of Directors presentations
Manage the collection, maintenance and integrity of data submissions by the firms business units within Hyperion application
Develop and maintain standardized best practices regarding the reporting and analysis of business performance on a consolidated basis
Prepare ad-hoc analyses for the CFO, Deputy CFO, SVP/FP&A and other senior management team, as necessary
Handle the administration of the firms Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) reward program
Support the creation of the annual and multi-year strategic plan
Track LTIP performance providing detailed analysis of variances from established targets and metrics
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-6 years of financial analysis and incentive plans experience
Experience working in Audit or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Management reporting experience
Ability to work within strict deadlines in a group environment and takes initiative
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable interacting with all levels of senior management
Knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Advanced Excel Skills and PowerPoint)
CPA Certification required
