Grandizio, Wilkins, Little and Matthews, LLP (GWLM) is a certified public accounting firm in Towson, Maryland. The firm provides accounting, tax and consulting services. GWLM is seeking a senior accounting for our audit department. We are currently looking for a candidate that holds a CPA or is looking to complete the CPA exam. This person will be responsible for being in charge on audits, reviews and compilations. The positions requires knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Planning audits, monitoring budgets, and being in charge of other team members and reporting directly to managers and partners
Review and preparation of financial statements, footnotes, work papers, agreed-upon procedures and other attestation engagements.
Preparation of Individual, Corporate and Partnership tax returns as needed
Recognize and solve potential or existing client issues through research and consulting
Develop staff industry and technical skills
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
