Additional information about this exceptional facility and the community it is located in: We are located 20 miles from Aiken, SC and 20 miles from Augusta, Ga.. Our facility has 120 beds with some short and long term residents. Edgefield is known as the ?Home of Ten Governors? and is a beautiful historic southern community. A lot of our employees here enjoy working and caring for our residents and often do things for the residents just because they care. Their care extends over to their co-workers in the form of sharing food, helping out in a crisis and showering them with gifts when a marriage occurs or a baby is coming. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current registration with the state Board of Nursing and licensed as a practical nurse
Minimum of six months experience as a staff nurse is preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
