Accountant Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - Local company is currently seeking a qualified Accountant. Recent graduate with a bachelor?s degree is acceptable.
The Accountant will be responsible for all accounting functions of a local real estate development and property management company. The Accountant reports directly to the Owner and works with management staff as well as outside certified public accountants. The Accountant will also work with on special projects for the Owner.
Responsibilities include all aspects of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll, Budgeting and Financial Statements.
Required Skills and Qualities
Bachelor?s or higher degree in Accounting
2+ years of accounting experience preferred
Master Skyline Property Management software
Master Intuit QuickBooks software
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Highly detailed and organized
Able to work independently with minimal daily direction from management
Able to meet assigned deadlines
Ability to work with firm?s outside CPA firm and tax consultants
