Full Time Accountant Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - Palolo Chinese Home does not pay for relocation. Must be immediately available for in person interview.
Palolo Chinese Home (PCH) is currently seeking a qualified Full Time Accountant. This person will perform general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable duties. Assists in general ledger and financial statement preparation. Exhibits proficiency in accrual accounting and accounting standards.
Qualification Requirements:
Skills/knowledge :
Must be Proficient in accurately performing basic mathematical calculations, spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Office ? WORD and
Must be proficient in MS Outlook email and calendaring. Ability to operate a 10-key pad by sight.
Knowledge of general ledger and billing software ?SAGE? and ?LTC? software desired.
Ability to use office equipment such as computer, adding machine, copier and fax machine.
Must be proficient in and data analysis skills ? critical thinking.
Familiarity with health/medical billing-related patient terminology desired.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to facilitate proper communication with others.
Must demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Education/Training : College degree in Accounting desired.
Experience: Minimum one year hands on bookkeeping and accounting support or financial audit experience.
