Billing Specialist Job Opening in Arlington Heights, Illinois - Job Description
Responsibilities:
Calculate and prepare all daily invoicing of service calls.
Enter and post all billings and payments received.
Assist with preparing A/R aging reports and follow up to ensure payments are received on a timely and agreed upon basis.
Updates and retains customer account information
Prepares and distributes Certificates of Insurance as per requests from customers.
Processes incoming payments for deposit.
Work directly with customers in regards to invoicing issues.
Investigates and resolves discrepancies with field employees and customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years? experience with T&M billings and accounts receivable processes for the construction industry.
Excellent data entry skills.
Excellent client service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
Must possess sound decision-making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and assure compliance with company and other applicable policies and procedures.
Experience with Foundation Software package or other construction ERP is preferred.
Associates or Bachelor?s degree in accounting/finance or related field is preferred.
