We are seeking to fill roles with in our Quality Department. These individuals may be doing either or both of these functions.
Final Inspector:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:
Perform mechanical inspection of finished machined parts throughout the machining process from first piece to final inspection.
Mechanical and visual inspection of all parts as a final gate before packaging.
Communicates with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering in verbal and written form, and documents inspection results in required format.
Create and maintain quality documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Using manual inspection equipment (i.e. capliers, micrometers, etc.).
Experience with TS and ISO environment
Good communication skills
Knowledge of SPC process and Gage R&R
EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a machine shop or production environment
Quality Auditor:
Assures quality by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, and inspections.
Auditor Job Duties:
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Verifies data by measuring parts and inspecting production records.
Completes audit by documenting audit tests and findings.
Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
Communicates audit findings by preparing a reports discussing findings with auditees and Management
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by seeking internal training, attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
Resolves quality issues with operations and the customer as necessary.
Develop strong working relationship with cross functional departments and employees.
Assist in investigations, deviations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Ensure line equipment is calibrated. Routinely check calibration dates and report and raplace missing calibration stickers.
Maintain a strong commitment to quality at all times.
