Abacus Search & Staffing is assisting a Not-for-Profit organization in the Kansas City Metro Area in their search for a Director of Accounting . Job duties for the Director of Accounting position include, but are not limited to: Month-end closing, preparing financial statements, cash flow forecasting, A/P & A/R, budgeting / forecasting, creating / maintaining policies and procedures, and ad hoc projects.
Requirements for the Director of Accounting position include, but are not limited to: Bachelor's degree, Accounting; at least five years of related experience; Not-for-Profit experience, preferably in a Healthcare setting; strong leadership and social skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong Microsoft Office abilities; and, the ability / desire to work in a collaborative, team environment.
