Med-Metrix offers healthcare Business Intelligence and Revenue Cycle Performance Management technology solutions, workflow driven outsourced services, and expert advisory capabilities honed by many years of direct operational experience. Founded in 2010 by a veteran management team with an established track record of providing superior service and technology to the healthcare industry, the team includes former leaders of National Revenue Cycle firms, Hospital Turnaround Management businesses, and Managed Care companies. We provide a full spectrum of Revenue Cycle software, consulting, and outsourced services from Patient Access to final claim resolution in the business office.
We are currently seeking talented and motivated individuals in the Revenue Management Consulting group, with a focus on product implementation and performance improvement.
To be considered, your resume must include detail that demonstrates that you have the following experience or exhibited the following skills in a professional setting:
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare-related field where you have worked directly with clients implementing new software or business processes
Taken on a significant role in the design of a new system and/or process, where you incorporated the needs of several different stakeholders and remained within the bounds of scope
Performed analytical or user-based tests to evaluate the effectiveness and/or outcomes of the new system or process
Strong verbal communication skills, with the professionalism and EI to engage clients at all levels, from Hospital VPs to customer support representatives
Strong business writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drill down to the key points in a complex problem and clearly articulate the next steps
Speak in the language of MS Office, particularly Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint and rely on these tools often to communicate your analytical findings
Have at minimum a Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university

Within the first three months in this position you will:
Gain an understanding of Med-Metrix Revenue Cycle tools (Vendor Manager, Workflow, Contract Management, and others)
Get immediate exposure to working directly with clients to understand and diagnose issues and ultimately recommend changes to correct them
Learn, understand, and update application configuration logic
Become savvy with our Dashboard Analytx® tool to develop and present data-driven status reports to clients to highlight opportunities for further improvement
Work directly with the VPs of Application Development to understand the product development process
Within six to nine months in this position you will:
Serve as the primary point person for clients, and independently provide updates on the status of work plan activities, as well as their operational and financial performance against goals and benchmarks
Identify areas of operational inefficiencies and translate improvement strategies into system functionality
Lead a client through the change management process, working directly with Hospital Management as well as end-users
Develop and present future-state process design recommendations
Execute on project plans to meet external timelines and resource capacity
Design application configuration logic and see it through to implementation
Serve as primary contact between the client and our Programmers to translate business needs into programming requirements
Play an integral role in client assessments and the development of recommendations that involve Med-Metrix solutions
