Your role:
You will be responsible for performing, maintaining and reporting on all aspects of his/her client's billing. You will provide weekly reports to the manager regarding the client's as well as any issues, concerns or current projects.
Client Relations:
You will be responsible for speaking with the client, when necessary, regarding any/all aspects of the account.
Reporting:
Reports are provided to the manager at the conclusion of each work week. These reports will include, but are not limited to:
Weekly Charges, Adjustments, Receipts
Summary of On Hold List
Monthly Collection Progress for outstanding guarantor and insurance balances
Issues with billing, collection or follow-up
Information regarding any policy changes or mandates that will concern the account
Notes on any conversations or correspondence with the client
Information on any current projects
Completing any additional reports the client or manager may request
Maintaining / Completing all aspects of the revenue-cycle process, including:
Patient Registration
Insurance Verification
CPT Verification and Charge Entry
ICD-9/ICD-10 Coding and Charge Entry
Payment Posting
Collections and Follow-up
Negotiations
Credentialing and Contract Renewals
*Additional team members may be assigned to assist with certain aspects of the billing process. The resources allocated to the account depend on the client's needs. If the The Account Representative is given the assistance of other team members, he/she is responsible for ensuring the staff are completing the required tasks.
Participation in Company Incentive Programs
Assisting with other accounts when necessary
