Hotel Sales Manager Job Opening in Racine, Wisconsin - We are excited to accept candidates for the position of Hotel Sales Manager for a limited service hotel in the Greater Racine Area.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop business through direct sales solicitation, secure new accounts, maintain existing accounts and execute tactical sales plans strategy to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Oversee client functions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts to secure business for the hotel to ensure that revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Actively prospect and qualify new business.
Solicit business via heavy outside sales efforts, cold calls, and site visits.
Participate in annual budget process.
Lead hotel's business case and RFP process.
Remain organized at all times and submit reports on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of previous sales experience required.
Must be knowledgeable of the Pleasant market.
Aggressive sales attitude is required.
Must have the ability and skills to close a sale.
Prior experience in a hotel or lodging environment a plus.
