Sr Accountant/Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Glendale, California - Looking for a 5-7 year accounting professional to join a start-up in the consumer-lending industry in the Glendale area at the senior level! They started the year with 10 team members and will be adding another 10 to their crew (some in marketing, finance, analytics and accounting) by beginning of 2018! This position has high-visibility throughout the organization (working closely with the accounting manager, controller and CFO). Sooner than later, this position can grow into an accounting manager role/assistant controller.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree
-5-7 years of accounting experience
-Someone who rolls up their sleeves and enjoys working in fast-paced environment
-Experience with companies (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities:
-Strong GL background
-Able to complete month-end close activities
-Accruals
-Accounting for inventory
