Controller/Accountant International Ecommerce Logistic Compa... Job Opening in Eau Claire, Wisconsin - Eau Claire based company is currently seeking a full-time Controller. We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual for this position. is an importer, multi-channel ecommerce marketer and distribution of indoor and outdoor home products for the past eleven years. Our growth comes from relentless focus on innovative, premium products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Controller will be responsible for all core financial, HR and sales and international taxes working in coordination with the company's CEO, company's team leaders and CPA firm. Reporting to the CEO, the Controller provides information that will assist the ownership and others in making educated economic as well as daily operational decisions.
As a leader of the accounting team, the Controller has responsibility for handling different types of financial transactions and reporting. You will also oversee HR and Payroll transactions within the company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- responsible for all financial records (AR,AP,GL,) formulating and tracking the financial budget and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its records, and the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements.
-Sales tax and income tax compliance- including multi state and international tax compliance.
Human Resources: Oversee payroll and benefit transactions for employees as well as employee status changes. Maintain employee benefits reporting and employee records management.
-Work on many special projects and strategic planning.
Job Requirements will include:
Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and sales and international taxes. Requires excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
3+ years accounting and human resources experience preferred. Proven problem-solving ability with productive curiosity. Good listening skills. Strong time skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret data without losing sight of how details affect the bigger picture. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and Trustworthy and discreet, with high ethical standards and a professional image. Strong work ethic. Ability to absorb new information quickly.
