Route Sales Representative Job Opening in Hammond, Louisiana - Aramark Uniform Services is looking for applicants for Route Sales Representative positions! These Positions Typically Involve?The need to build solid, positive working relationships with customers; be highly motivated, and able to balance exceptional customer service with meeting and exceeding expectations, requirements, and individual sales growth goals. Working in a professional manner as advocates for the organization, our RSRs strive to generate goodwill and loyalty for the Job Duties* of an RSR often Include?? Safely operating a company step van to provide products and service to a variety of clients. Verifying daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintaining proper operator documentation.? Independently managing a daily route to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.? The loading/unloading of product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.? Reviewing invoices daily for complete and accurate information and making corrections as needed.? Meeting sales goals and promoting overall route growth to enhance profitability.? The need to develop leads/prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts. Assisting the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.? The need to understand services, policies, and pricing methods and clearly explain the same to the customer.? Monitoring customer feedback and handling customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.? Being responsible for your personal safety and watching out for the safety of others. Using safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhering to all safe work practices and policies.? The performance of other duties as required or Qualifications? High school degree or equivalent.? Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver?s license, and an excellent driving record.? Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.? Strong math and basic computer skills.? Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.? Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.? Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer Working Conditions and Physical Requirements*Depending on geographical location, an RSR may experience exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures. The RSR environment is often fast-paced requiring irregular and long hours. Positions typically require the ability to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance. An RSR may be asked to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. Bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching movements are routinely performed by most RSRs.
