Outside Sales Trainee Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - OUTSIDE SALES TRAINEE
Snyder Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic containers and storage tanks, has an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Trainee to learn the industrial sales market. This position would be an advancement opportunity to a Regional Sales Manager position. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Industrial division and will be based at our Lincoln, NE facility.
Primary duties will consist of :
Interacting with existing and potential customers in a professional manner both in person and over the phone with order inquiries, pricing issues and application questions.
Establishing and developing direct sales accounts
Developing a proficiency to review engineering specifications and create formal quotations.
Prospecting proactively for new customers
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities :
Knowledgeable and proficient PC skills with emphasis on spreadsheets and word processing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills utilizing effective sales techniques.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and urgencies dictated by the work environment.
Top-notch interpersonal skills with a team oriented attitude.
Organized and manages time very efficiently.
Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries tactfully, quickly, and professionally
BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
