Finance Director Job Opening in Union, South carolina - Will provide assistance and direction to all County departments and offices of Elected Officials in all areas of local government financial matters. Responsible for developing and maintaining internal financial control procedures to ensure compliance with all standard accounting principles, IRS Regulations, and other administrative and governmental policies. Oversees State and Federal grant funding, prepares financial statements, reconciles the general ledger accounts, forecast and monitors revenue and expenditures and prepares the County Budget; as well as many other varying task and projects as assigned by the County Supervisor.
