Production Accountant Job Opening in Blythewood, South carolina - SUMMARY
Oversees the accuracy of production reporting provided by production floor and warehouse to
ensure accurate information flow to the financial and controlling interface in SAP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties might be assigned:
Confirm material consumption to production orders and verify to ZMFA and PDC reports
Ensure time order closing by coordinating with operators
Verify consumption posting of wets by IMS system to production orders
Verify the waste report (Z-Mon)
Close Production Orders
Maintain TECO reporting which is a detail analysis of variances and waste
Maintain job folders
Calculating Standard price for Blythewood produced semi-finished goods and Sales Order
positions for finished goods. Analyze cost detail to verify process and costs
Maintain on-time delivery reporting
Support special projects (Cost Savings, Process Optimization)
Assist with quarterly inventory activities
Review cycle count data and confirm write off amounts
Complete daily reporting of open and partially completed pallets
Complete weekly dashboard for management
Complete monthly production reporting graphs and power point slides
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate?s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two
years of related experience and/or training or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulation
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public
Bilingual English and German is preferred but not necessary
Vlookup, if statements, pivot tables, slicers, and the ability to troubleshoot if a formula breaks
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office Knowledge, Power Point is a must with emphasis using Excel
Knowledge of Accounting software and SAP software is a plus
Formulas, charts, and graphs experience required
