Position title: Android SW Engineer (Developer)

Bellevue, WA Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct log analysis and debug carrier application issues for wireless devices: smartphone, tablet, wearable, accessories, and/or etc.
Manage carrier specific application issues for following clients: AT&T and T-Mobile (HUX)
Collect and deliver required testing information for client(s) in a timely manner * Coordinate and execute various testing activities in order to verify and detect defects within Android software: functional testing, interoperability testing, performance testing, current/battery consumption testing, white & black-box testing, field testing, usability testing, spec-verification testing, issue reproductions, regression testing, usability testing, and/or etc.
Evaluate software defects using bug tracking tool and assist development team members in implementation of full-verifications & resolution strategies * Utilize various testing tools and equipment in order to collect desired data for log analysis: QXDM, QCAT, PST, ADB, DDMS, Android Studio, GDB, and/or etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Telecommunications or equivalent
2+ years of Android experience (Mobile Device)
1-2 years of experience in IT industry; software development, architect, system requirement, project management, or equivalent
Strong understanding of following programming language: Java
Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills & development teams
Ability to work on multiple projects in fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, logical, and detail-oriented personality
Solid Java programming skills
Solid debugging skills ? Android Studio / gdb (good to have)
Software engineer capable of handling multiple small projects in parallel
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Android OS development (DM & FOTA)
Exposure to diagnostic engineering tools & equipment: QXDM, QCAT, PST, ADB or DDMS
Experience with Linux development environment
