C#/.NET Software Engineer Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Covestic is looking for a C# Software Engineer that is experienced with web enabled platforms to enhance, support and maintain custom and licensed applications, eCommerce websites, API and web services layers, and associated system integration efforts. Our client is in process of replacing their core ERP system environment for their next gen core business systems and they are realigning all existing solutions to integrate with the new environment.
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for creating custom enterprise solutions through collaboration with other developers, project managers and business users. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
Design, develop, integrate, maintain, and support web services, windows services, windows and web applications, line-of-business applications, e-commerce platforms, and interfacing with databases for internal customers using a mixed set of technologies
Gather, interpret, and analyze user requirements
Develop intuitive user interface designs
Write production-ready code and tests that meet requirements
Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues and ad-hoc questions
Customize, integrate, and support vendor-supplied software to support business users
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience developing web services and Windows services using C# /
Experience working with NuGet package manager
Experience building and deploying web applications and API's using the Azure Web App Service
Experience working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries
Experience using GIT and Visual Studio Team System (VSTS)
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience working in Agile sprints
Working knowledge of any of the following technologies: WCF, WPF, SQL, VSTS, GIT, HTML, CSS, scripting, XML, JSON, IIS, and build systems, and Windows services
Experience with test driven development (TDD)
Experience customizing MS Dynamics, SharePoint, Cold Fusion, Excel and MS Access applications
Experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating Magento and Monsoon ecommerce platforms
