Software Development Engineer Job Opening in Redmond, Washington - The mission of the Customer Promise Interoperability Team is to provide Office365 developers a good on ramp in migrating, deploying, and developing their applications and solutions on the Office365 platform. Our goals are to unite the Office365 developer communities where they can discover, learn, build, deploy, sell, and measure the success of their applications and solutions. We'll integrate and leverage the compliance \ interoperability work for the Office365 developers to build great Office365 applications. We'll partner with CSS to unite the relationship between developer support and engineering team so our Office365 development issues are addressed in a timely manner where our Office365 developers can successfully migrate, develop, and deploy their applications. Finally, we'll also transform the Office365 development platform to evergreen deployment where the existing applications and solutions continue to effectively function as monthly \ quarter Office365 releases are deployed. There are many exciting opportunities for us to grow the Office365 development community. We'll focus on the big rocks where our development community can get the biggest impact from our quarterly results.
Qualifications include:
4+ years of software development and test experience with fluency in C or C++ or C#
Experience in designing and implementing solutions and applications
Full understanding of all aspects of the software development process with experience shipping at least one release
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-group and across disciplines
Excellent skills in design, debugging and problem solving
Passion for customers, troubleshooting, and product quality engineering
Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products or services is a plus
Familiarity with Azure, web services and multi-tiered client and server distributed applications is preferred
BA or BS in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
