SUMMARY: Interacts professionally with all external and internal customers using strong interpersonal skills and a very friendly professional and positive demeanor. Looking for a long-term employee who will grow with Westwind.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Answering phones, build strong rapport with existing customer base
· Assist New and Existing Customers with any and all questions concerning ongoing projects
· Assist Order Entry with the input, checking, and confirmation of customer orders
· Support Sales, Marketing and New Projects as needed
· Willing to take on new responsibilities as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· To perform the job successfully an individual must have exceptional phone and customer service skills, (a person that customers look forward to talking to); a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor; ability to work well with others; possess the necessary skills to perform all of the essential duties of this job.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Two or four year college degree or equivalent combination of education and previous Customer experience
· Strong computer skills
· Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts; Good problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and phone skills
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Excellent oral communication skills and effective written communication skills are a must.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
· Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
· Must demonstrate good problem solving skills.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
· Extreme Attention to Detail Required
· Ability to multitask and handle multiple demands.
· Excellent organization and time management skills.
· Must be able to work independently in a busy environment, as well as be a team player.

· This position requires the employee to be sitting 60% of the work time.

Most of the duties of this job take place in an office environment. Occasional exposure to the warehouse and production facilities may be necessary and can expose the employee to loud noise and air particles resulting as a result of wood processing.
