Network Infrastucture Engineering Support Job Opening in Warner Robins, Georgia - Technica Corporation is seeking Network Infrastructure Engineering Support as the primary technical resource and Subject Matter Expert for AFRC-wide engineering and the overall architecture for headquarters AFRC and AFRC host bases on NIPR and SIPR.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the AFRC data centers, backbones, cloud initiatives, and mission data traversing the WAN
Act as the single point of contact (POC) and provide oversight, compliance, and upgrade recommendations for the AFRC Enterprise comprising approximately 1,700 infrastructure devices on NIPR and SIPR
High tempo travel required for this position due to base level project support - estimated to be 75%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
12+ years of experience
Bachelor?s Degree (work experience can be substituted in place of a degree)
Extensive technical experience in AFRC architecture.
Extensive experience designing, deploying, managing and supporting mission critical network environments based on Cisco hardware and Internal Operating System (IOS).
Extensive experience with Air Force NIPR, SIPR and Combat Information Transport System (CITS) architecture and programs.
Extensive experience as a project manager in data center migrations, enterprise network upgrades and WAN upgrades.
Extensive experience in Local Area network design, configuration, installation, evaluation, problem resolution and project management.
Knowledge of all common routing protocols, include, but are not limited to, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Knowledge of industry-standard network design principles and best practices.
8570 certification required; IAT Level 3 certification is required.
Cisco Certified Associate Level (e.g., CCNA) or Cisco Certified Professional Level (e.g., CCNP) certification required.
Extensive knowledge of Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI).
In order to serve as SME for Air Force network projects effecting both the HQ and enterprise, extensive knowledge required of the following AF projects including but not limited to: Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI), One Base One Network (1B1N), Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI), Enclave NIPR Firewall and ASIM Sustainment (ENFAAS), Installation Processing Node (IPN).
Experience managing large scale technology refresh for large enterprise.
