Director of Finance Job Opening in Mooresville, Indiana - Position: Director of Finance
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer
Summary:
We are currently searching for a Director of Finance to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting and FP&A activities for our five companies and in consolidation.

Equipment Technologies (ET) Inc. is the home of the Apache line of ruggedly simple and dependable self-propelled agricultural sprayers. Founded in 1997, ET has grown significantly becoming part of EXEL industries, a global Agricultural family of companies in 2016. ET?s manufacturing facilities and corporate headquarters are in Mooresville, Indiana, 20 miles from downtown Indianapolis. The products are currently marketed in the U.S., Canada, Australia and eastern Europe.
Position Description:
The Director of Finance will be a hands-on, participative manager who will lead and develop the finance and accounting team. This person will have an analytical orientation with the ability to envision and build tools and processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the function. This position requires a very high level of competence in accounting and finance. Someone who will add value every day by applying expertise and energy to this business. Systems: Sage 100, CDK, Hyperion Financial Management and MS Office
Primary duties:
Coordinate and lead the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for five companies and in consolidation. P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
Improve the process of reporting through Hyperion Financial Management for both closing and budget/forecast
Perform analysis and commentary on KPI?s and participate in developing plans for improvement
Implement a rigorous cash forecasting process working with corporate treasury to optimize cash balance
liaise with external auditors for both mid-year and year-end audits
Provide project and analytical support to functional department heads
Apply continuous improvement principles to accounting processes and the close cycle
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Highly intelligent, creative, hard-working and productive
Business acumen and a strong desire to learn the business that drives the numbers
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master?s/CPA/CMA a plus)
At least 10 years of overall professional experience with progression into financial leadership roles (FP&A Manager, Controller, Finance or Accounting Manager, Director, VP)
Strong background working with business systems (Hyperion experience a plus)
High-end Excel user with experience building financial models and analyzing very large sets of data
