Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for performing adjustments, reporting, end of day reconciliation, and escalating all out of balance issues that may arise. The Operations Supervisor will provide assistance with daily operations processing in order to meet contractual deadlines. The Operations Supervisor serves as back up operations leader in Project Director?s absence. The Operations Supervisor will actively participate in corporate finance activites and create reports and generate information, as requested. In addition, the Operations Supervisor will interact the client to ensure completion of project tasks, contract requirements as outlined in the statement of work and project deliverables.
Job Functions:
Assist in the management of day to day operations to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Ensure work is accurate and complete and all procedures/policies are being followed.
Communicate effectively with team members, leads, client and third parties.
Develop and maintain written procedures on all reporting requirements.
Maintain comprehensive record of all finance activity.
Function as interface between the project team and the customer or client manager and effectively responds to client program needs and concerns.
Ensure contractual requirements and deliverables to the client are being met within the specified deadlines.
Prepare various operational reports.
Ensure deliverables to the client are being met within the specified deadlines.
Supervise orientation and training for new staff.
Complete bank deposits on a daily basis.
Oversee contract compliance with the client and financial institution.
Perform daily payment adjustments.
Assist with daily keying and posting payments.
Audit preparation and provide assistance in support of internal and external audits, including State and IRS audits.
Serve as back up for Leads and Project Director, as needed.
Peform other related duties, as required.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be able to handle details of a confidential, critical nature and must function effective and efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative, professional environment. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
2+ Years? experience in finance, accounting, banking or other relevant field.
2+ Years? experience in a lead or supervisory position.
Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
Strong 10-key skills.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication capability; persuasive, encouraging, motivating, and inspiring; the ability to listen and understand.
Strong relationship management skills.
Ability to motivate team members.
Due to the diverse nature of this operation; candidate must show flexibility and willingness to adapt to change and work effectively during periods of pressure and stress.
Candidate must display cooperation and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.
Candidate must use good judgment and analytical skills to problem solve.
Candidate must be able to work independently, with little supervision once assignments have been established.
Previous experience in a payment processing center a plus.
Previous experience with Title IV-D child support program desirable.
Must be able to work 2:00 am - 4:00 pm on Mondays, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Tuesday through Friday and 5:30 am - 11:30 am the first Saturday of each month 5:30 am - 11:30 am
