Optical Sales Job Opening in Cambridge, Massachusetts - We are seeking a full-time Optician or Eyeglass wear Sales professional to be an integral part of our optical department. We are a modern high-end practice that serves a wide base of patients. Our optical is made up of over 1,500 frames with an in-house lab. You will be the face of the practice for patients in need of vision care. You will be the trusted advisor, educating patients and advising them on their vision care needs. The optician will help patients make the proper choice of frames and lenses that best fit their vision needs. Highly competitive compensation for the right fit. If you are not a licensed optician, we provide full sponsorship to become an apprentice optician and will assist you to become licensed in the state. Easy access to the T. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE * Prior work experience in the optical industry or high end retail environment * Ambitious, comfortable working in a fast pace setting and selling high-end products.;Good with technology, Communicates with impact and confidence;Good sense of style and fashion ;Great organizational skills; Able to maintain a positive attitude in every circumstance;Learning product knowledge and educating customers; Willing to grow and move up within the practice ;Passionate about customer service ; Self-motivated personality; Strong computer skills ;A passion for retail and the ophthalmic industry * Good math skills (applying multi-discounts to the same order, applying insurance allowances etc.) * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Saturdays required
