Software Developer - Chat Bot/ Machine Learning Job Opening in Ann Arbor, Michigan - Psyched by Mg, LLC is looking for a Developer to join its early-stage start-up to develop a chat-bot to provide eMotional Assistance and Relationship Advice via smartphones to revolutionize the scale and reach of psychotherapy.
Developer will work with the subject matter expert to develop a ?demonstration? chat-bot that will function with the existing iOS/Android application. This will involve coding the "expert" dialog rules used, enhanced by Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to assess and then provide guidance and assistance in one common domain of therapy.
Success of the demonstration will be measured by: 1) ability to dramatically scale the number of users and depth of interaction, 2) provide advice that users find helpful (is the chat-bot ?credible?), and 3) the proof-of-concept necessary to secure funding for the development of the full-scale platform.
You?d be well qualified for this position if you have a background in mobile development, natural language processing or text manipulation, principles of usability, familiarity with chat-bot development platforms, and familiarity with machine learning.
Opportunities for full-time employment and/or equity position in the resulting start-up if the demonstration proves successful.
Location is flexible as the working relationship can be managed virtually/ remotely, but the San Francisco Bay Area or South East Michigan are preferred locations.
