The company is a fast-growing Dental Services Organization(DSO) focused on purchasing dental practices in the Hudson Valley region of New York. The company currently owns five practices and has a pipeline of additional acquisition targets for 2017. The company?s goal is to be the leader in wellness-centered dentistry in the Hudson Valley region, providing the highest quality, state-of-the-art dental care and personal attention to its patients. As the management company for dental practices, we provide management, operations and financial support services to dental offices. Our goal is to provide dental offices with a one-stop management service so that the clinicians can focus on providing best-in-class dental services.
This position, located in Kingston, NY, reports to the CFO and will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting infrastructure to accommodate the needs of a fast growing, dynamic organization, as well as the following responsibilities:
Job Description
The consolidation and reporting of accounting information to CFO and CEO.
Maintaining an accurate and timely general ledger and accounts in Quickbooks; properly accounting for and safeguarding of assets.
Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including budget and historical variance analysis, as well as all general accounting functions
Supervise accounting staff in various departments including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, billing, collections & insurance
Manage state tax compliance, registrations & filings including but not limited to sales & use tax and quarterly payroll tax filings.
Providing support and assistance to CFO in connection with budgeting and forecasting, year-end tax support and due diligence, as necessary.
