Software Engineer C/C++ Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Salient Systems, a rapidly growing developer of Video Management Systems is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for immediate employment.

Role & Responsibilities:
Design and implement various features for company's flagship software product
Work with support team and customers in diagnosing and resolving field issues
Integrate with various third party applications through APIs
Integrate cameras and video devices through standard streaming protocols
Participate in and lead the designs of new features
Deliver high quality code within specified deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in CS/EE/CE
Strong working knowledge of C/C++
Strong object oriented design and coding skills
Experience in developing Windows applications
Network Programming (TCP/UDP)
Multithreaded Development
Also a plus:
STL/Boost
MFC/ATL/COM
Codecs (MPEG4/H.264)
Video and/or audio
DirectShow
Experience in /C# is a big plus. Relocation assistance will be provided.
