Job Details:
Location: Irving, TX (must work onsite, no remote)
Assignment term: 12 months (possible contract to hire)
Interviews: 1st phone; 2nd Onsite team; will consider SKYPE for non-local candidates only
Project: Agile development; starting 8/1/17
Required experience:
5 to 10 years' experience in development
Retail software development using C# and technologies
5 years of experience of software development in a retail environment(including POS, POS devices like scanners, printers, credit, debit, prepaid, EMV, RFID etc.)
5 years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and 5years in C# Worked with Web services, database technologies and other data formats like XML, XSLT,JSON
Oracle Database and SQL programming; must have experience with creating stored procedures (PL/SQL)
, Entity Framework, LINQ, Windows Forms, has worked in Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar source control system
Needs to be well versed in agile methodologies and have at least 4+ years of experience working on agile projects.
Strong programming knowledge, fluency in C# and solid understanding of OOP concepts
Experience with current 3.5/4.0 technologies such as WPF, WCF, WWF, and LINQ
XML (documents, translation, and development in )
Experience writing web services and/or Windows services
Good working knowledge of one or more databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), including SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
Strong technical documentation ability
Strong verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based development projects
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to design patterns, unit testing, source code control, and agile development methods
Good to have: Microsoft Composite Application Block (CAB), (MVC) Pattern, , Knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP protocols, HTML
